Criminal Law: Garda station interviews, representation in district courts in Carlow, Athy, Naas and Kilcock, Trim, Portlaoise, Tullamore and all Dublin Courts. Young Persons, Juvenile Court, All C/L and central criminal court. If you get in trouble with the Gardai and if you are arrested, you are entitled to free legal aid and you should make sure that you avail of this.
Drink and drugs offenses: Road traffic offences including use of mobile phone, speeding, dangerous driving, careless diving , no tax, no insurance, no NCT. Warrants- For non appearance and European arrest warrants.
Assault: Violence, affray and riot. Public order offenses, appealing convictions, penalty points, sexual assault offenses, Harassment including texting and online messaging abuse.
James has a wide knowledge of law and how it works in Ireland. His experience includes 32 years in practice, 12 of which was as State Solicitor/ Prosecutor for North West, Wicklow, North Kildare areas (2001-2012).
When he returned to his previous role as Defence Solicitor. He has tutored in Family Law in the Law Society, he is a qualified collaborative lawyer having trained with the Resolution Formerly the Family Law Solicitors Association of the UK.
He now advises on Corporate Regulation and Corporate Governance and ethics an area which has grown under recent Irish and EU legislation and the area of Public Law.
He has done all of this while still retaining his ‘Common Touch’ and sense of humour!
