James has a wide knowledge of law and how it works in Ireland. His experience includes 32 years in practice, 12 of which was as State Solicitor/ Prosecutor for North West, Wicklow, North Kildare areas (2001-2012).

 

When he returned to his previous role as Defence Solicitor. He has tutored in Family Law in the Law Society, he is a qualified collaborative lawyer having trained with the Resolution Formerly the Family Law Solicitors Association of the UK.

 

He now advises on Corporate Regulation and Corporate Governance and ethics an area which has grown under recent Irish and EU legislation and the area of Public Law.

He has done all of this while still retaining his ‘Common Touch’ and sense of humour!
